So my very awesome librarian friend, Rita Meade whose blog you should absolutely be reading put together a list of places that needs help, that offer help, where you can help, etc in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
I just took some bags of clothes, toiletries and food down to Councilman Gentile’s place and they wanted people to remember how important toiletries are too. People need toothbrushes. And deodorant. And jackets. And food. And things that help them feel like their whole life wasn’t destroyed.
